Course aim Learn advanced level Japanese for work or to enter a university or college
Course introduction Our school has a long-term general Japanese course which aims at developing the four Japanese skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. These skills are required in Japanese companies. The course is also designed to prepare students for university exams and JLPT tests.Classes are divided based on proficiency and dedicated staff is available for consultation to help students acquire the standard of Japanese required to achieve their goals.

Breakdown of courses

Elementary Course The first step of the elementary course is the study of Hiragana and Katakana, followed by the study of basic words, Kanji, and fundamental Japanese phrases. These are essential to reach the Japanese proficiency required for daily life in Japan. This course is designed so that students can acquire practical and conversational skills in Japanese by mastering the basics of the language.
Intermediate Course This course is designed so that students can acquire comprehensive practical Japanese abilities. At this level, students will continue to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing while tackling relatively difficult reading materials to increase Kanji and vocabulary comprehension. Students will also study the practical usage of Japanese necessary for various situations and learn natural expressions to express their own ideas logically. At the same time, students can prepare for the EJU test to enter Japanese universities and colleges.
Advanced Course (Two year Japanese course only) This course will prepare students to develop the four Japanese skills to be used in businesses and universities confidently. An advanced level of Japanese will be acquired through reading newspapers and magazines. In addition, students will be trained to express their ideas in context appropriate Japanese. At the same time, students can study business Japanese and prepare for the EJU test in order to get a high score. The ultimate goals of this level are for students to be able to successfully pass the JLPT N1 exam and / or to be able to attain more than 300 points on the EJU exam.
Selective Classes (Two year Japanese course only) Selective classes will be opened for students who have already passed the N2 or higher of the JLPT and are trying to enter a national or private university in Japan. (Charges apply)
Open courses: EJU Japanese, Japan and the World, Mathematics and Science.
